WOULD YOU RATHER…
Die saving 10,000 strangers from death, knowing no one would ever know it was you or live knowing everyone would know you decided not to save 10,000 people’s lives?
I would choose option A one million times over. I’d never be able to live with the guilt of letting innocent souls die. Recognition for my good deed would be irrelevant at that point.
Eat live octopus (Sannakji) in Korea OR Eat boiled-alive baby duck (Balut) in the Philippines?
Can’t say I’ve ever eaten a live animal, but would have to go with the octopus. It feels less cruel since I eat seafood all the time. I would feel like a member of Fear Factor, having to hold in the hurl.Lose all of your money OR all of the picture you have ever taken?
As a travel blogger and avid scrapbooker, I can’t even put a dollar value on the photos of all my memories I have accumulated over the years. I asked my mom to put my 30+ scrapbooks in a fireproof safe so I would never lose them.
Be deep sea diving and your oxygen tank runs out OR be bungee jumping and have your cord snap?
I have an irrational fear of suffocating so that would be my worst nightmare.Be a part of a real Jurassic Park scenario OR be part of a real Day After Tomorrow scenario?
I think seeing dinosaurs in real life would be surreal! Speaking of, did you know Jurassic World is a real theme park in Australia? Take me there!
Live in the Avatar universe OR the Pokémon universe?
This is a tough one! In my mind, I’ve already seen Avatar in Singapore, so perhaps getting in good with Pikachu should be my next movements.
Experience an epic waterslide OR an epic zip line?
The kid in me would pick the water slide, but my adult side screams zipline. Across picturesque New Zealand, preferably.Be blessed with more time OR more money?
I can’t begin to put a value on time, I relish every second I am given these days. Life is too damn short.
Meet a foreign guy in your travels knowing it would be a fleeting romance OR stick to what you know in a stable and reliable relationship in your own country?
I love the idea of using Tinder to tame your wanderlust and meeting Non-American men. I was always very much a commitment type of girl, but living across the globe for an unforeseen period of time has led me to be far more open to trying new things and meeting all types of people.
Call one place home for the rest of your life OR move somewhere new every year?
This is a no brainer. I’ve called Australia home for the past year and a half, but am already planning my next destination. I don’t think I’m ready to move back to America just yet! And certainly not to Ohio where I spent 22 years of my life.
