Hey y’all! I’m Kelly from The Little Things and I am so happy to be here sharing a DIY for your decor. Whether I’m creating it, purchasing it, or displaying it, I love art. I try to fill my home with as much as I can so I like to have different ways to show it off. Here is an easy clothespin frame that can serve as it’s own kind of art without even putting anything in it!
The big day has finally arrived! I’m off on a plane to the land down unda’! Wish me luck!
What does home mean in your eyes? For me, home is not a place, it’s a feeling. A warm, cozy bed you never want to leave in the morning. The smell of freshly brewed coffee to greet you, ground in a sense of belonging and purpose. A space you are free to be naked, both physically and emotionally, surrounded by those who make you feel whole. Home is where the heart is.
I will be leaving the place I have known for 22 years of life, in pursuit of a a grand adventure. It will be so difficult leaving the important people in my life, but I’m doing this for me. This will be the experience of a lifetime, which I do not regret one bit. My home and family will still be here when I return with a whole new worldview that I will cherish for the rest of my years.
Hasta la vista Ohio! Australia here I come!
Now for a fun little DIY to keep home forever in your heart.
What You’ll Need: Old Frame (no glass), Spool of Wide Ribbon, Glue, Clothespin
Take out the back of your frame and measure out enough strips of ribbon to cover it. Glue the strips down to the inside of the frame back, the part that will show in the frame. Be sure to overlap your pieces, following the pattern on the ribbon if necessary, as well as wrapping them around the back.
Glue the clothespin near the top of the frame. I gave mine a quick coat of white paint too! Now pin a print or picture and display!
