The skinny curse.
Trust me, it’s not as glamorous as it may seem. As difficult as it is for the majority of people to lose weight and keep it off, it’s the same struggle for me to put it on. No boobs. no butt. no fun.
Hearing “ohmygoshyouaresoskinnyimsojealous!” over and over again. Hearing my name connected with the words “anorexic” and “not eating”
I got my inspiration from Katie’s comment: “Allow me to introduce to you what my mother calls the “skinny-fatties”. These are girls who have never been to the gym more than twice in their life. They may be single digits, but if the time came for them to run they would make it 10 steps and collapse. So while they may look ‘skinny’ they are fatter than you in every way.” And I thought, woah, that’s me!
I felt like it was everyone (my family, friends, and doctors) against me. No one would believe me. I felt scared and alone.
I still don’t have all the answers but I’ve learned to be content with myself and the body God has blessed me with.
